U of U High School Student Recruitment

The Challenge

The Student Recruitment team was all set to visit high schools to encourage students to attend the U. There was just one problem. They needed to quickly spruce up their Powerpoint presentation to stand out among competitors. The new show needed to:

• Be created in a very short time frame
• Highlight benefits of attending the U
• Use media to help students envision life on the U campus
• Be portable and easy to run from a laptop computer

The Solution

Media Solutions quickly and affordably infused life into the show by adding existing media elements from the department's brochure and promotional video. Specifically, we:

• Branded the presentation with a U logo and distinctive background
• Created a master template for a consistent look and easy updating
• Streamlined and polished the presentation talk points
• Added exciting video clips and music to begin and end the presentation
• Included high quality photos on each screen for visual appeal
• Animated photo collages to emphasize speaker points
